What sets us apart from other firms is that like our clients we run our practice like a business. In addition to regular partner meetings, we have a Management Board that meets to decide on strategic business issues. We took a decision from the outset not to become another faceless corporate law firm but instead to identify and specialise in the delivery of wholesale legal areas as well as niche areas that had growth potential. We wanted to push the traditional boundaries for law firms and by running a business we are best placed to advise other businesses.

We have an inclusive management style, we focus on ways to approach new business and discuss directions in which we feel the practice can grow.

Hiding lights under bushels - The firm has also invested in Marketing and PR and has benefited from a heightened profile. We believe passionately in what we do. We believe we have a lot to offer and with that belief comes confidence, which leads to trust.

The partners also believe that the firm's heavy investment in state-of-the-art IT and case management systems, and highly motivated and qualified to operate them, is paying dividends. If electronic tools are available to manage essential data more quickly, more efficiently and more reliably, it seems absurd to cling to less efficient methods. In this sense, we see ourselves as a business. What possible excuse is there for operating a business less efficiently than possible?
